We would like to thank all delegates and speakers who attended Te Ao Tangata 3rd Universal Design Conference and helped to make it such a great success. We thoroughly enjoyed all the high-quality speakers, concurrent sessions, workshops, posters, the conference dinner, the live performance from Touch Compass and also the Te Ao Tangata Hikoi. We hope you did too.

With over 140 delegates from New Zealand, Australia, United States and Canada, this Universal Design Conference was the largest to date!

The Universal Design Conference would not be possible without the many amazing sponsors and exhibitors. It would also not be possible without the hard work of dedicated professionals such as Elise Copeland our resident Universal Design expert and the wider ADO team who by partnering with Lifemark and Be:Accesssible have created a powerful movement for change. Universal Design is the biggest design challenge facing 21st-century cities. As I result of this gathering and the subsequent discussions at the highest level things will change in NZ. Please watch this space.
